September's Nibblefest Art Contest Theme: 'CATS'

Cats.  What would the world be without these fascinating critters?  Cats entertain us, in some cases work for us, and, unless you happen to be one of the unlucky 10 percent to be counted as allergic (like me!), provide us with lasting loyal and loving companionship.  Though ever only on their own terms of course.  Independent and often aloof, it is in fact this autonomous nature of the feline disposition that frequently divides the populace between the Cat Lovers amongst us, and the....not so much.  Nevertheless, regardless of whether ya love 'em or hate 'em, there is no denying the fact that the cat has long fascinated us, having captured the human imagination, if not our hearts, over the many thousands of years of our shared, intertwined history.....
